Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-4 years of finance experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • The ideal candidate will possess robust financial knowledge and principles, applying these to deliver accurate and high-quality work.
  • They should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, capable of identifying opportunities or root causes and developing effective solutions.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have a thorough understanding of workflows and systems, actively contributing to processes and ensuring compliance while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CFA designation a plus.
  • Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain complex financial modeling and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor financial metrics around revenue, sales operations, and business performance.
  • Review and analyze complex financial data to identify trends and insights, ensuring compliance with internal and external metrics.
  • Perform standard financial analysis, including budget-to-actual comparisons and financial forecasting using prescribed systems and workflows.
  • Lead the annual budget planning, aggregation, and consolidation process for assigned areas.
  • Coordinate and liaison with internal leaders regarding budgeting, forecasting, and spend management, including personnel and headcount planning.
  • Perform audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Timely resolve finance and accounting-related issues and questions for assigned areas.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills to effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
