About The Position

Sr. Financial Analyst (Corporate FP&A): Responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support departmental and divisional objectives. This role supports budgeting processes, monitors project spending, and ensures accuracy in financial data. Key duties include preparing summary reports for leadership, identifying variances and trends, recommending process improvements, and overseeing labor maintenance systems. The position also leads planning cycles (long-range, annual, quarterly, monthly), performs month-end and year-end closings, reconciles financial data, and ensures compliance with established procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or accounting required.
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, budgeting, accounting/finance
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent business acumen and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong software and systems acumen (ERP experience preferred, SAP and OneStream experience a plus)

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project accounting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning, reporting and analysis of department and cost center budgets.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for department & division management that highlight a summary level of key financial factors requiring attention.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process changes to drive efficiency, data integrity and clarity of financials.
  • Manage the Engineering Labor Maintenance systems to ensure proper assignment of cost centers to track manpower utilization.
  • Identify monthly variances and trends, and recommend actions needed to meet financial objectives of the department and division.
  • Execute processes such as the long-range plan, annual plan, quarterly projections, monthly estimates within the organization through strong working relationships with key business partners.
  • Perform the final month end close process, including reconciling project and financial spending reports, creating journal vouchers for necessary adjustments and verifying month timecard hours in SAP.
  • Perform the month end, quarter end, and year-end closings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
