About The Position

As a Sr. Financial you will support the financial planning activities for the Americas business. You will collaborate with the World Area Finance Directors to provide analysis of financial results and forecasts. You will be responsible for the continuous improvements’ projects for the Americas Finance and the timely consolidation of actuals data. Based in Houston, TX, this position will report directly to the Americas CFO. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Support the WA Presidents Operating Report (POR) and data reporting and review. This includes gathering orders data, providing analysis, and reviewing management reports. Coordinate the quarterly orders forecasts, collection, consolidation, and analysis. Analysis of monthly Business Unit orders results as part of the Americas WA organization, for accuracy and provide explanations on deltas. Identify, develop, and implement improvements to the reporting utilization of Hyperion Financial Management, BI tools, CRM, and Process Automation. Transform financial data from Oracle, HFM and CRM into interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other analytical tools as necessary to support strategic decisions, track KPIs, automate reporting and provide actionable insights on performance, budgeting, forecasting and variances in orders, sales and spending for leadership. Assist in the preparation for management review meetings inclusive of anticipating questions. Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual requests from the Americas WA. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a corporate or business unit accounting, reporting and FP&A environment
  • Excellent Excel skills including experience with vlookups, writing formulas, marcos, and pivot tables.
  • Expert in analytical tools and Power BI dashboards and reporting inclusive development of Power BI Dashboards
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques, and principles
  • Experience with a major ERP such as Oracle (Hyperion)
  • Attention to detail, time management, critical thinking skills, and independent judgement to deal with ambiguity.
  • A strong analytical mind and skill in interpreting financial data
  • Ability to work as a key member of the FP&A team, while managing the completion of multiple tasks, exhibit strategic-thinking and hands-on ability to plan work schedules for the achievement of daily, monthly, and annual deadlines and challenges.
  • Effective communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of management within and outside Finance.
