About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Sr. Finance Manager, NA Global Services, MedTech CFM to be located in Titusville, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ. The Senior Finance Manager CFM is responsible for controllership of actuals for Surgery, Electrophysiology and Neurology (EP&N), Cardio, new acquisitions and Orthopedics while remaining in JnJ portfolio in North America with direct support to at least 4 Commercial CFOs. The role is regional (NA and OUS) and highly visible as it supports all NA MedTech Business Units, approximately $10B in NTS. The Senior Finance Manager is the lead authority on the actuals, has intellectual curiosity for developing business acumen, and cross-process coordination of the (US GAAP) BRAVO financial results for External Reporting, and drives balanced collaboration with Business Unit Finance, Corporate Services, A&D, and Global Services Finance. The Senior Finance Manager provides trusted business partners, across all levels, with the crucial Controllership Services that enable transformations, sustain E2E accounting oversight, and influence financial decisions. Through special projects, such as SigniFi, this role is at the forefront of influencing next-generation technology, providing support to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions that address Financial Reporting compliance and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including shared services and commercial finance.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience with SAP, TM1, BRAVO, and other financial systems.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management with senior executives.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement value-generating process improvements.

  • Advanced degrees (MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accounting to Report (Hard Finance): Partner across all tiers of the organization in this high exposure role to coordinate and facilitate closing efforts, and ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant for the MRCs supported. Own Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Free Cash Flow reviews, BS-75 reporting, among others. Ensure SOX compliance and support internal/external audit processes. Drive standardization and process improvement across markets, leveraging digital tools and maximizing efficiency (e.g., SAP, TM1, Alteryx, UiPath).
  • Finance Business Partnering: Act as strategic finance advisor to BUF, FP&A and senior business leaders. Provide financial insights and analysis to support planning, forecasting, and performance management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, M&A activities, and strategic projects, serving as the “Face of GS”. Identify, propose, and execute process improvements that generate value through cost avoidance, compliance enhancement, and revenue generation.
  • Leadership & Influence: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of curiosity, growth mindset, and accountability. Champion DE&I and employee engagement initiatives. Influence across GS Finance and BUF organizations to drive strategic alignment and change. Support, influence, and execute SigniFi and any other Technological Transformation initiatives, managing change and shaping both processes and talent workforce strategies.
