The Critical Facilities Manager (CFM) will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all critical infrastructure systems across a hyperscale data center building. The Critical Facilities Manager is primarily responsible for developing their team of 10-15 highly respected, well-trained, and customer-focused Critical Engineering Technicians (CETs). The CFM drives CET performance through hands-on leadership, technical guidance, and a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. The CFM will lead daily operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, HVAC, fire suppression, etc.) for a hyperscale data center building. The CFM will leverage his or her extensive experience to guide their respective team through all challenging aspects of maintenance in areas such as critical MOP development, testing plans, sparing approaches, capital planning, end-of-life replacement and expansion of existing facilities while eliminating risk to our customers and their businesses. As a key stakeholder in a mission-critical environment, the Critical Facilities Manager partners with data center operations, construction, reliability engineering, and security teams to ensure alignment with campus goals and customer expectations. This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of large-scale facilities management in critical environments.
