About The Position

As a Sr Export & Sanctions Compliance Analyst at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company adheres to export and sanctions laws and regulations, thereby minimizing its risk profile. This position offers an opportunity to join the company on the ground floor as it transitions into its own publicly traded entity later this year. You will be responsible for supporting due diligence analyses on various third-party relationships, including distributors, vendors, and customers, with a focus on export controls and sanctions regulations. Your role will involve collecting data from diligence services and publicly available sources, creating comprehensive diligence reports, and issuing recommendations for managing relationships in a compliant manner, contributing to a strong culture of compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on all types of third-party relationships, including distributor, vendor, and customer relationships, for Honeywell Aerospace, with a focus on export controls and sanctions regulations.
• Make recommendations to leadership on compliance guardrails for certain third-party relationships.
• Conduct audits and assessments in due diligence processes to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with peers in Export & Sanctions Compliance and IT and make recommendations regarding improved screening processes to find efficiency gains.
• Monitor changes in third-party relationship statuses and industry best practices for screening to update relevant stakeholders.
• Make updates to a third-party’s status in various Honeywell screening systems, including SAP GTS and Salesforce.
