Requirements

Masters in Exercise Physiology
Minimum of 5 years as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehabilitation.
Experience with outcome data management, certification preparation and enrollment of new patients program.

Responsibilities

Responsible for design, demonstration, and supervision of patients according to their individually developed exercise prescription.
Monitors blood pressure, pulse, workload, and exercise technique for safety when patients are exercising.
Documents exercise response, adverse reactions, or clinical problems and modifies exercise prescription according to department standards.
