A Day in the Life We are currently looking for Villalba Site, a Technically Oriented Leader, to innovate and contribute on our journey towards manufacturing equipment Maintenance Excellence. Our operation is very dynamic, constantly moving towards the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, and this leader will be a key team member, in our Development-to-Operation equipment support strategy. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems. May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products. Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies. Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products. Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release. Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended. Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development. Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Requirements

  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Requires a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Requires minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering, with proven experience and/or exposure to the following:
  • Experience leading Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment
  • Exposure and experience with Control Systems repair and troubleshooting
  • Exposure to Vision Inspection systems repair and troubleshooting
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Exposure to key maintenance metrics Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Previous experience on preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling
  • Experience in Spare Parts Inventory systems management.
  • Exposure to gas sterilization Equipment maintenance and repairs
