Jabil is seeking a Senior Product Engineering Manager, who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to developing end customer product solutions. You will be responsible for managing the technical direction of your programs through the lens of the customer, factory, and services. You will also be responsible for partnering and collaborating with internal engineering, product management, program management, manufacturing, test and quality teams to ensure your products meet the rigorous standards and performance of Jabil's world-class manufacturing environments and our end customers.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required
  • Must have hands-on development experience in the area of Enterprise server, storage or networking
  • 12-15 years of experience in an engineering product development is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an engineering team; managing remote, multi-national and geographically dispersed teams is required
  • Exceptional product development and program management skills
  • Expert understanding of Agile development methods with the ability to drive organizational transformation
  • Deep experience in process development and process improvement
  • Able to lead the development of complex processes spanning multiple functions and areas of expertise
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree is preferred
  • In addition to Hardware experience, Software and firmware experience is a nice to have

Responsibilities

  • Manages the technical direction of a project through the lens of the customer, factory, and service
  • Owns product execution from end to end.
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of all development efforts for new products and products in sustaining for server, storage, and networking
  • Will organize teams and drive solutions cross-functionally within various areas of technical expertise (hardware, software, firmware, performance, interoperability, etc.)
  • Empowered to make key decisions with respect to quality and features that may impact customer experience
  • Must understand how technical decisions impact the broader business and work side-by-side with business unit leaders to optimize investments
  • Ensure products under development are compliant to the requirements and behavioral specifications
  • Owns preventative actions so gaps in E2E process or capability are addressed long-term
  • Early involvement and key contributor in RFQ/RFI process
