Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager - Conveyance. This position can be located at our Jackson, MI facility or can be based remotely with travel to Jackson, MI 25% of the time. All candidates must currently reside within the United States and must work out of a United States remote location. The Sr. Engineering Manager will lead global engineering for the Conveyance product line consisting of hoses, tubes, fittings, quick disconnects, fuel ducts, swivels, thermal management system, and other coupling solutions. This role has direct reports in Jackson, MI, Gilching, Germany, and Lakeside, UK and is supported by the Pune Conveyance Team. This position reports directly to the Fluid and Electrical Distribution Division Engineering Director. The primary function of this position is to lead the global engineering activities within the organization, managing new product development & introduction, research & development programs, sustaining, and implementation of digitalization initiatives. Primary focus areas include organizational capability development, global Engineering alignment, improved program execution using disciplined engineering processes, risk management and portfolio/resource planning using leading indicators & metrics. Additional areas of focus will be the implementation of organizational performance measures, the development of best cost country (BCC) engineering capabilities, the refinement/implementation of technology strategy, and advancement of engineering capabilities to support the development of next generation components and systems. The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
