Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Sr. Engineer - Systems (R2 - R3) to solve business problems and improve business processes by identifying and ensures the most appropriate solutions are deployed. The scope of work for this position is tactical, day-to-day execution activities that impact business operations in the near-term. Interface between Information and Digital Solutions (IDS) and business partners at a project, application, or program level. Manage the application of IT principles, architecture, and technology in a tactical way that is business driven, and focus on business processes and translating requirements into systems work. Analyze existing business processes and participate in reengineering efforts. Evaluate the application lifecycle against the solution architecture roadmap and makes appropriate retirement/replacement recommendations. Define user acceptance criteria for system deployment. Ensure that incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are all done with alignment and understanding of business need. #LI-DNI Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting/developing IT applications/solutions. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with IT Life Cycle management and IT Business Process Model; 5 years of experience with S95 model and LSEF; and 5 years of manufacturing IDS experience. The anticipated wage for this position is $123,843.00 per year Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting/developing IT applications/solutions
  • 5 years of experience with IT Life Cycle management and IT Business Process Model
  • 5 years of experience with S95 model and LSEF
  • 5 years of manufacturing IDS experience
