As a Senior Developer for the Salesforce Platform Team, you will: Demonstrated mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles across languages such as Java and/or Salesforce Apex. Experience using GitHub and contributing to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Harness). Ability to deliver, operate, and support enterprise‑scale software solutions. Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and collaboration skills. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles across languages such as Java and/or Salesforce Apex.
- Experience using GitHub and contributing to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Harness).
- Ability to deliver, operate, and support enterprise‑scale software solutions.
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
- Two or more years of analysis and technology experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to tackle moderately sophisticated business and development problems.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Salesforce platform development and integrations.
- Java services development; Spring Boot a plus.
- Python experience for automation or integration support.
- Experience aligning with DevOps and “build it, run it” delivery models.
- Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices.
- Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
- Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
- Manages project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
