Lumos & Associates, a leader in civil engineering throughout northern California, Nevada, and Idaho, is seeking an accomplished Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a key technical leadership role within our Water/Wastewater practice. The position will work out of our Roseville, California office. This individual will serve in responsible charge of projects, provide high-level technical oversight, and mentor junior staff while helping grow our technical practice. About the Role: The Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer serves as a senior technical leader responsible for the design, coordination, and oversight of complex infrastructure projects across our service territory. Project types include: Water distribution systems Sanitary sewer collection systems Booster pump and lift stations Storage facilities Master planning and hydraulic modeling Water and wastewater treatment facilities This role combines advanced technical execution, team leadership, client engagement, and business development support. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills: Strong technical background in water and wastewater design and construction management experience, and have a demonstrated ability to serve in a responsible charge capacity for water and wastewater projects. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information in public forums, as well as interpersonal communication with team members and colleagues. Possess a high level of creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage and oversee several tasks/projects concurrently. Strong business acumen necessary to maintain project budgets and develop new and repeat business with existing and new clients. Possess vision to help grow and direct the water/wastewater technical focus group in close coordination with the Lumos Group Manager, consistent with our strategic plan and goals.
