About The Position

Amentum is seeking a part-time EMC Engineer to perform Test, Evaluation, Integration, and configuration of C5ISR systems. Senior EMC Engineer Responsibilities Include: Developing detailed EMI/EMC test plans Participating in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews Perform EMI/EMC testing gather, reduce, and analyze resulting data Prepare and publish detailed EMI/EMC test reports Review technical documentation and technical meeting support.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an electrical engineering with an RF focus or Physics with an emphasis in electromagnetic interference (EMI), electric field propagation, and/or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Eight (8) years of demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to electromagnetics.
Seven (7) years of experience in Research, Development, Test, Engineering, or Integration related to warfare systems or electronic systems.
Demonstrated experience in theoretical and practical aspects of research, development, test, engineering, or integration of Navy RF sensors and systems and with one or more of the following topside areas: E3; EMI/EMC testing; EMI problem investigation; Spectrum; EMI/EMC analysis and assessment; EMI Control and Mitigation; MATLAB programming; proficiency in use of RF equipment (spectrum analyzer, real-time spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, etc.).
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
