Summary Description Under the supervision of a Project Manager and/or a Sr. Electrical Service Technician II, performs service style work in an independent manner. Directs others as needed and supervises larger, more in-depth service installs. Provides leadership and mentoring to fellow team members and performs all tasks with the highest level of quality craftmanship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency.
Minimum of eight years’ experience in the electrical trade at an Electrical Service Technician or Journeyperson level.
Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program and the ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License.
Has elevated computer literacy and understands program navigation.
Maintains a positive working environment.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and lead others.
Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location/office.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Must purchase company required personal tools (see attached list) and maintain in good condition.
Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
Ability and willingness to travel regionally to jobsites as needed.
Excellent customer service skills and acts in a professional manner always.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and proven ability to provide problem resolution of electrically related systems.
Ability to read and accurately interprets schematics, blueprints and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M employment policies and procedures including standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company.
Provides 24-hour on-call, rotating shift, and assists other technicians during their scheduled on-call rotation.
Manages day to day activities through ProNav and provides prompt updating.
Installs and supervises conduit system installs as needed to support small project and service applications.
Installs and supervises horizontal wiring/lighting systems as needed to support small project/service applications.
Interprets blueprints and schematics and can quickly identify discrepancies.
Installs and supervises the install of pneumatic systems, motor controls and variable speed drives.
Works closely with our distribution/manufacturer partners as needed for technical support.
Requests and procures materials as needed with our in-house purchasing agents.
Safeguards and maintains Tri-M equipment, material, tools, and vehicles.
Manages projects from start to finish and independently performs project close-out.
Provides leadership to other service technicians and mentors them in proper install, paperwork and application processes.
