Perform hands-on preventive maintenance, trouble-shooting, and recovery on AMAT Dry Etch equipment to ensure optimal tool uptime and performance. Conduct training sessions for technicians on AMAT tool operation, maintenance procedures, and excursion awareness. Coordinate weekly PM schedules and align maintenance activities with area constraints and current WIP levels. Monitor and handle spare parts inventory, including AMAT-specific components, and coordinate procurement with buyers. Optimize AMAT chamber configurations to meet RF trigger thresholds and improve First Run Metrics (FRM). Collaborate with AMAT vendors to enhance chamber reliability, process stability, and consumables management. Diagnose complex equipment issues using systematic trouble-shooting techniques and provide recovery plans with accurate ETAs. Support cost reduction initiatives by finding opportunities to lower repair and maintenance expenses. Assist Process Owners with AMAT process conversions, chamber matching, and defect reduction strategies. Participate in SPC/FDC initiatives to improve process control, reduce tool alarms, and minimize excursions.
