About The Position

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor Degree preferred
• 5 years of dispatching experience
• Excellent conflict resolution and skills
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Engage in weekly operation planning with Program Manager
• Collaborate daily with dispatch team on driver loading schedules and resource sharing
• Work with Maintenance Manager on PM compliance for assigned equipment by location
• Receive and consolidate loads from the customer into the dispatch system daily
• Data entry and admin support for daily delivery confirmation, billing and payroll duties
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Lead and mentor dispatch team
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
• On-call Duties as needed
