About The Position

Sr. Director, Project Management - Network Operations Job Description: The Senior Director, Network Policy Operations is a senior operational leader responsible for establishing, maintaining and continuously improving the governance, risk and control environment for the Network Policy organization. This role owns operational compliance with internal policies and control frameworks, overseas audit and risk partner engagements, and leads the development of data reporting, automation and policy publication capabilities that support transparency, resilience and regulatory confidence. The role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Product and Finance teams to ensure the organization operates in a controlled, auditable and scalable manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 6 years of experience in payments operations, network operations or financial services operations within a regulated environment
  • At least 6 years of experience partnering with audit, risk and compliance functions as well as external stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in payments network rules, operating regulations or scheme governance, including multi-party contractual frameworks, preferably working at or closely with card networks, real-time payments networks, clearing and settlement systems or large-scale platforms
  • Experience leading data automation, reporting platforms or operational tooling initiatives
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations affecting payments networks
  • Experience overseeing policy, governance or operational functions

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain operational compliance with internal governance, risk and control frameworks including policies, standards, procedures and documented controls related to Network Policy activities, translating governance and risk requirements into practical, embedded operational processes
  • Monitor control effectiveness and drive remediation of identified gaps or weaknesses
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison for compliance, risk and internal audit stakeholders and ensure timely, accurate and well-governed responses to audit findings and information requests
  • Coordinate audit planning and execution, issue management and remediation tracking across Network Policy operations
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, documentation, compliance and continuous improvement in control execution
  • Lead the design and delivery of operational reporting and management information for leadership, risk committees and governance forums
  • Drive automation of reporting, evidence collection and control processes, reducing manual effort and operational risk
  • Ensure published network policies and related program materials are refreshed, accurate, current, version-controlled and aligned with approved governance processes, supporting the evolution of modern policy and publication platforms to improve efficiency, accessibility and useability
  • Build and lead high-performing teams across Network Policy operations, reporting, publication and controls functions
  • Champion the use of technology (including AI-enables tools where appropriate) to improve policy and publication quality, consistency and operational efficiency, while retaining clear human accountability
