About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and direct the U.S. Hatchery team to provide high‑quality products to customers globally, achieve financial and operational objectives, and maintain effective communication with customers and shared services. The role ensures compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare standards, develops and maintains qualified team members across all positions, fosters a strong safety culture in all facilities, and protects genetic security and integrity.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge in a professional field, typically obtained through four (4) years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 10+ years of hatchery and poultry‑related management experience preferred.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using standard computer programs.
  • Must use safe lifting techniques.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; and hear.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Required to follow all facility safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
  • Must comply with all biosecurity protocols, including mandatory shower‑in procedures prior to entering job sites.
  • Company‑issued clothing and footwear must be worn; no jewelry is permitted except approved medical ID jewelry.
  • Must be willing to sign an agreement confirming avoidance of avian species (chickens, ducks, birds).
  • Must follow the Company’s Animal Welfare Policy at all times.
