About The Position

This role is responsible for designing and implementing SAP global Information Systems (IS) solutions and strategies, that enable and support business objectives. Key responsibilities include: IS Architecture & Strategy Develop comprehensive IS solutions and strategies that align with business goals and stakeholder requirements. Ensure architectural integrity and integration of business processes, data, applications, and technology. Analysis & Continuous Improvement Maintain a current understanding of business processes, priorities, culture, IS infrastructure, application portfolio, emerging technologies, and data relationships. Identify gaps between current architecture and future requirements, and define strategies to address them. Solution Development & Governance Lead or participate in creating IS architectures, standards, guidelines, and governance processes. Collaborate with finance solution teams on ERP programs. Functional Expertise Act as a subject matter expert for Record-to-Report processes, including journal entries, account reconciliation, financial closing, and compliance. Develop functional specifications for reports, forms, configurations, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows. Testing & Documentation Manage and coordinate unit and regression testing with integration partners. Create work instructions and job aids for end users. Collaboration & Leadership Manage multiple priorities in a global environment. Influence and interact with business partners at all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience across diverse business environments and IS functions, with exposure to all management levels preferred.
  • SAP international experience with DRC legal requirements preferred.
  • SAP configuration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI, Tax and Legal reporting, AR/AP, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Intercompany, Financial Close, foreign currency conversions/revaluations, and multi-company code environments.
  • Advanced computer skills and deep understanding of IS and business functional areas.
  • Ability to assess organizational impacts of IS architecture changes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to interact with all management levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous direction.
  • Some domestic and international travel required, based on project needs.
