If not currently based there, relocation will be required upon acceptance.   The Senior Director of Operations role, reporting to US Grifols Plasma top business unit leader (VP, Operations US Plasma), is responsible to lead, plan, oversee and coordinate the US Grifols Plasma field operations assigned toward the achievement of established operating objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 10+ years’ experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, project management, business management, and/or finance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve
  • Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, working closely with leadership team and stakeholders to understand business goals and priorities
  • Partner closely with support department team to review scorecards, tracking progress against set objectives
  • Prepare presentations and follow up action plans to help drive forward strategic initiatives; and report results to stakeholders internally and externally on key milestones
  • Participate and help prepare for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings, whereby managing reviews in alignment with priorities and KPIs of business
  • Support the execution of change management programs
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement in partnership with the Business Optimization dpt., always with quality and safety of donors and employees as top priority
  • Monitoring the competitive landscape and understanding the industry changes.
  • Organize, direct, and control operational activities to achieve targeted cost per liter and revenue objectives and ensure that all work is performed
  • Establish productive relationships with counterparts in other segments of the business to drive consistency and collaboration
  • Promote high support departments partnership to advance the business and meet or exceed growth objectives.
  • Develops goals and objectives for the department based on directive given by Sr. VP Operations and support teams.
  • Providing operations point of view as a key member of the operations leadership team
  • Ensuring operations is staffed optimized with top performers and providing strong, consistent, and positive leadership by selecting, training, and developing an operational pipeline to support the organization’s growth
  • Ensuring operational alignment with any brand/marketing plans
  • Providing “subject matter expert” input relative to local markets to Sr. VP Operations and corporate departments.
  • Lead the Regionals Managers team assigned by managing and developing the team.
