About The Position

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight in managing the daily operations of the hospital and it's entities, establishing a system for assuring that high quality care is provided, assuring the sound fiscal operation of the hospital while promoting services that are produced in a cost-effective manner. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies while continually monitoring the organization's service and delivery system, ensuring optimal fulfillment of the hospital's mission in response to the identified needs of the community. Responds to Medical Staff, employees, and patients, and works closely with the Lakeside Advisory Board and leadership of the Medical Staff in developing the strategic direction and major policies of the hospital. Supports the District leadership, Medical Staff, and senior management in the development and implementation of strategic plans Leads the development and execution of operational action plans that establish objectives, define strategies, and outlines in detail the operational actions needed to meet the defined objectives Recommends policy changes and alignment to impact and execute fiscal procedures for control and effective utilization of physical and financial resources for the hospital Recommends appropriate actions and strategies to respond to projected economic and utilization trends withing the organization Responsible for the selection, development, organization motivation, management, evaluation, and promotion of human resources Establishes and maintains appropriate use of facilities, supplies and other required resources Coordinates the activities of the Lakeside Advisory Board, through the establishment of priorities during recurring meetings Develops programs promoting a positive image of the hospital and creates awareness of available services to local community by representing the hospital in the community activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a senior hospital executive.
