We are seeking an enthusiastic Sr. Director, North America Real Estate and Facilities to join our team. The Head of North America Facilities and Real Estate will play a key leadership role in the development and management of Broadridge’s facilities and real estate operations with a key focus on our headquarters in New York City and Newark, New Jersey. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term capital planning, project roadmaps, project management, and facilities management and centralization initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, sustainability, and employee experience. This role will report into the VP, Global Real Estate and Facilities. They will collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with Broadridge’s business priorities. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong track record in data-driven decision-making, utilizing advanced analytics, emerging technologies including AI, and scenario modeling to inform facilities and real estate recommendations. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong market knowledge, and a proven ability to build trust, influence decisions, and lead through collaboration across a diverse stakeholder landscape. This is a high-impact position that requires strong business acumen, technical expertise, and the ability to influence and partner cross-functionally at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate real estate and facilities management, including multi-site and 3+ years with regional leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record managing complex lease portfolios, facility operations, and large-scale capital projects.
  • Experience in developing and leading workplace strategies and sustainability initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial and analytical acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities and experience with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient in facilities management systems, lease management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to navigate matrixed, cross-functional structures in a global environment.
  • Financially savvy; able to manage cost efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
  • Change management experience with proven ability to lead global transformation.
  • Passionate about workplace experience, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Suite, MS Project, Smartsheet, Airtable, Asana, Trello, Monday etc.) and IWMS/CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Facilities Operations Oversee day-to-day operations for offices in North America to ensure safety, functionality, and high service levels Implement preventive maintenance programs and emergency preparedness plans in compliance with all regulatory requirements Drive initiatives to improve workspace experience, environmental sustainability, and operational efficiency Benchmark performance metrics globally and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels Establish performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs) for vendor performance, preventive maintenance, and service delivery
  • Project Management & Construction Lead capital projects such as relocations, renovations, expansions, consolidations, and facility upgrades—from planning and budgeting through execution Manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and other external service providers to ensure quality, budget, and schedule adherence. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget using modern project management tools and methodologies. Collaborate with Real Estate, Procurement IT, Security, and HR teams to support integrated workplace solutions.
  • Capital Planning Build and maintain a capital investment framework that aligns asset management, lifecycle planning, and operational budgets. Partner with Finance and Operations to develop and manage capital and operating budgets; track expenditures against forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management Leverage market expertise and established network of brokers, landlords and service providers in Latin America to strategically expand the real estate portfolio in Latin America. Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, including regional leadership, country managers and business leaders. Act as a key point of contact for leadership, providing timely updates, insights, and recommendations that support decision-making. Lead cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Innovation & Workplace Experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and scale innovative workplace solutions that enhance flexibility, productivity, and employee engagement. Contribute to sustainability and wellness efforts through thoughtful planning, design, and operational practices. Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance workplace services, data visibility, and operational efficiency. Support hybrid work models by ensuring physical spaces and services are optimized for collaboration, connectivity, and inclusivity Remain responsive to leadership priorities, translating strategic direction into actionable workplace improvements. Lead sustainability and energy-efficiency programs, supporting company ESG targets Incorporate technology solutions (e.g., IWMS, smart building systems) to enhance facilities management performance.
