About The Position

The Sr. Director – Application Management Services / Digital Core Operations & AI Service Management is responsible for overseeing end-to-end application operations and service management for the enterprise Digital Core. This role will lead the transition and stabilization of Application Management Services (AMS and AD) onto a new Digital Core platforms and enabling AI-driven operations and strategic “AI big bets” across the application landscape. In this role, you will define and execute the operating model for Digital Core application support, ensuring scalability, reliability, and continuous optimization. The position plays a critical role in transforming IT Operations into a strategic enabler by embedding automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making into application support and service delivery. The primary objective of this role is to lead AMS and AD and ensure that Digital Core platforms and enterprise applications operate with high availability, efficiency, and resilience while evolving toward an AI-augmented service model that accelerates business outcomes. As a key leader, you will manage the full lifecycle of AI systems—from deployment to ongoing operations—while driving innovation, compliance, and efficiency. Your vision will shape how AI enhances service reliability, automation, and decision-making across the organization. In addition to overseeing the operations of our infrastructure, you’ll foster and manage relationships both internally and with us managing service providers, and business partners. Using industry’s best practices, you’ll oversee AMS operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, identification, escalation, and resolution of issues. You’ll be responsible for overall team management and mentoring of staff, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle, SAP and Commercial Applications and large managed service provider set-ups
  • Extensive experience managing complex AI systems in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Deep understanding of AI applications and infrastructure requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent project management capabilities and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Extensive experience in establishing MSP (Managed services provider) performance measurements, calculating penalties and enforcing contract obligations.
  • Build and refine operational processes, procedures, governance, and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide IT operations with a focus on intelligent automation, AIOps, and proactive service reliability.
  • Drive modernization of AMS and AD portfolios through data-driven investments and AI-augmented delivery models.
  • Champion AI-powered digital assistants to transform support, productivity, and decision velocity.
  • Align technology operations with business outcomes through innovation, resilience, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT, data science, and development teams to ensure seamless AI integration and functionality.
  • Mentor and guide teams on AI operational best practices and procedures.
  • Develop, enforce, and monitor MSP SLAs to ensure commitments are met.
  • Utilize ITSM foundations to build and maintain operational excellence.
  • Develop strategies to meet cost efficiencies and budget targets.
  • Optimize operations to achieve synergy savings
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders across various domains
  • Oversee Major Incident Management (MIM) and ensure resilience in global service delivery.
