About The Position

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Zeus' global network, cybersecurity, and IT hardware/software systems—including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and operating systems (iOS, Windows 10). Leads ongoing IT operations with a strong focus on end-user computing. This strategic leader combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, team development, and customer service skills. Acts as a subject matter expert and escalation point for infrastructure and end-user computing issues. Drives innovation, process improvement, and change management across infrastructure, operations, and security services. Capable of leading cross-functional teams and managers to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Business Management
  • 15+ years in IT networking and/or information security
  • Proven leadership of global operations teams in dynamic environments
  • Extensive experience in network engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity initiatives
  • Deep familiarity with MPLS, commercial networks, and datacenter topologies
  • Advanced knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (TCP/IP v4 & v6, MPLS, QOS, BFD, LACP, VRRP, STP)
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model and core networking protocols
  • Skilled in evaluating, configuring, and troubleshooting diverse network equipment
  • Experience with IT frameworks such as NIST, ITIL, and Agile/Scrum
  • Demonstrated team management and strategic leadership skills
  • Strong initiative, adaptability, and resilience to change
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology, preferred
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes infrastructure, IT operations, and cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals (e.g., achieving Hyver 3.5 score).
  • Influences senior leadership decisions and fosters strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Resolves conflicts and ensures alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Promotes infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Understands user needs to design impactful infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Oversee configuration, rollout, and support of systems and hardware.
  • Ensures timely, budget-conscious delivery of technology portfolios.
  • Maintains quality standards and compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS).
  • Owns SLAs for network services and drives data-informed decisions.
  • Manages vendor relationships and budget responsibilities.
  • Leads cyber-security awareness initiatives (e.g., training, phishing exercises).
  • Monitor systems and proactively address technical issues.
  • Coaches and mentors team members, conduct performance evaluations, and supports career growth.
