About The Position

The Senior Director, Information Technology – Americas is responsible for leading all IT functions across the Americas region, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and analytics. This role ensures reliable technological operations while driving the modernization of the company’s IT landscape, including the evaluation and transformation of legacy ERP systems. The role will oversee IT delivery across multiple business sites throughout North and South America and will lead a team of functional IT leaders responsible for core technology domains. This leader will play a critical role in evaluating the current ERP landscape, developing a modernization roadmap, and executing system transformation initiatives that enable operational efficiency, scalability, and digital capabilities. The Senior Director will partner closely with business leaders and global IT leadership to ensure technology investments align with the company’s strategic priorities and growth plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Experience managing regional IT organizations across multiple sites
  • Strong experience with ERP platforms and enterprise system transformation
  • Proven track record leading technology modernization programs
  • Experience overseeing infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and analytics teams
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution environments
  • Experience managing complex legacy IT landscapes and modernization initiatives
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other essential time constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all IT operations across the Americas region, supporting multiple commercial, manufacturing, and corporate sites.
  • Serve as the primary IT business partner for regional leadership, translating business needs into technology solutions.
  • Ensure reliable and secure delivery of IT services across the region.
  • Build and lead a high-performing IT leadership team consisting of functional domain leaders across applications, infrastructure, analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Lead the evaluation of current ERP platforms, many of which are legacy systems, to determine modernization opportunities.
  • Define and execute a multi-year ERP transformation roadmap, including system consolidation, upgrades, and potential platform migrations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to standardize processes and maximize value from enterprise systems.
  • Ensure enterprise applications support finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial operations effectively.
  • Oversee regional IT infrastructure including networks, cloud platforms, end-user computing, and site technology services.
  • Ensure consistent IT service delivery across multiple facilities and offices across the Americas.
  • Manage IT operations to ensure high system availability and strong user support.
  • Lead adoption of modern infrastructure technologies to improve performance, resilience, and scalability.
  • Ensure regional compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements
  • Implement security standards and risk management practices across infrastructure and enterprise applications.
  • Partner with global cybersecurity teams to monitor threats, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents.
  • Support the development and deployment of data platforms, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities
  • Partner with business leaders to enable data-driven decision making across operations and commercial teams.
  • Ensure strong data governance and integration across enterprise systems.
  • Lead a team of 3/4 functional IT leaders, each responsible for major technology domains such as:
  • Enterprise Applications / ERP
  • Infrastructure & Cloud Operations, Cybersecurity
  • Data & Analytics
  • End User Services
  • Develop organizational capability and ensure strong alignment with business priorities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology partners supporting regional IT operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
