About The Position

The Senior Director, Data Analysis will report directly to the VP of Portfolio Strategy and Insights and be responsible for the creation of a comprehensive approach to enhance Insulet’s use of insights. They will partner with the organization to identify and prioritize critical business initiatives to leverage various data assets to drive Insulet’s business outcomes. This will include develop requirements, drive data collection and standardization, monitor performance and drive syndication of insights across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data analysis, strong understanding of strategy development and business drivers and the ability to influence at senior levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Understand various data sources (structured, unstructured, internal, external) and their strengths and limitations.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence with strong knowledge of applications and draw backs
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams and establishing Centers of Excellence.
  • Understands how to use data globally within various compliance requirements
  • Experience in product management and the use of data to develop new solutions and drive priorities
  • Ability to develop requirements and partner with development teams to drive programs forward
  • Strategic Vision: Set a compelling vision for the organization's insights strategy and drive alignment towards that vision.

  • Change Leadership: Excellent collaboration and leadership abilities, with a track record of driving alignment and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in leadership roles within the medical device, healthcare, or consulting industries.
  • Track record of successfully leading market analysis, competitive intelligence, and insights initiatives.
  • Experience in building and leading Centers of Excellence or similar cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Insulet’s business strategy and key unmet needs across Patients, HCPs and Payors globally
  • Develop requirements by understanding key business needs across regions, product and technology organizations
  • Develop Insulet’s data strategy and driving alignment across CPXO, CTO and Regions around top opportunities while identify critical investments
  • Establish prioritization process and maintain backlog of key analytical opportunities
  • Collaborate on data analysis roadmap and priorities in relation to enterprise-wide strategies
  • Lead organization by establishing best practices in data analysis to drive business results
  • Guide organization to appropriate analytical methods based on data assets and business priorities
  • Develop strategy that identifies and prioritize external data integration
  • Navigate global privacy landscape to drive business outcomes through insight generation
  • Identify KPI’s to track Insulet’s execution and develop a roadmap to gain access to data and consistently report on metrics
  • Empower the organization through self-service pathways (dashboards, reports and Business Intelligence Solutions) and drive adoption of tools
  • Communicate critical insights to executive leadership team
  • Build out Insulet’s Data Analysis COE inclusive of designing a team
  • Create bottom’s up plan for data analysis to be included in AOP
  • Perform other duties as required
