What You’ll Do: Creative Brief Development – Work collaboratively with the insights and analytics team, account and creative teams to distill the key information from consumer, category, culture and company into actionable insights for substantial client projects. Scoped Strategy – Leads high-level, long-term brand strategy and evolution of the vision, medium-term communications and campaign planning and shorter-term engagement strategies (i.e. activations strategy, partnership platform, creative strategy, etc.). Business Development – Core contributor to new business response development; including preparation and delivery of pitches – particularly around strategic upfront and creative set-up– and the transition of new business wins to teams. Establish and Grow the Discipline at Wasserman – Develop the practice and approach to consumer strategy at Wasserman. Identify and communicate ways to build and grow the team, the department and its processes and educate and develop talent. Keep the team/company on the industry forefront – Identify opportunities for learning and sharing with our team, clients and prospects about innovation, trends, audience, culture (i.e. thought leadership, trend reports, workshops, etc.). Full-time, hybrid role 3x/week from the LA office

Requirements

  • Ability to identify and define business problems, issues, and demonstrate an intuitive ability to discern the most important areas of opportunity.
  • Proactive and curious with an ability to identify and mine potential data sources across the organization and industry.
  • Have strong perspectives on a brand’s consumer, category, business strategies and culture.
  • Develop creative strategic solutions that address the client’s business challenges/ goals.

  • Impeccable communications, presentation and listening skills.
  • A proven collaborator who is solution-oriented, organized and detail–oriented.

  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in sports, music, and entertainment are a plus.
