About The Position

The Senior Director – Advanced Technical Solutions (ATS) is a senior technical and delivery leader responsible for driving execution of complex, multi-disciplinary technology initiatives that are critical to business and customer outcomes. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders, engineering, consulting, and delivery teams to translate business objectives into scalable, practical technical solutions and ensure successful execution across the organization. This leader operates at both strategic and tactical levels, bringing strong technical depth, delivery experience, and business acumen to guide decisions that balance speed, quality, cost, and risk. The Sr. Director, ATS plays a key role in driving delivery accountability, improving execution maturity, and elevating technical delivery standards across programs and teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience delivering large-scale, complex technology programs or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience across modern platforms, infrastructure, cloud, or software systems.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams across multiple technology domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology decisions to financial and operational outcomes.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and customer-facing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs across WWT’s solution portfolio, including infrastructure, cloud, data, security, and platform domains.
  • Drive execution alignment across engineering, architecture, consulting, security, and operations teams.
  • Translate business objectives into scalable technical approaches and executable delivery strategies.
  • Ensure programs deliver measurable business outcomes aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to align priorities, timelines, and success criteria across large-scale initiatives.
  • Provide clear, data-driven updates on program health, delivery risk, and execution progress.
  • Influence technical and delivery decisions by connecting technical tradeoffs to business and financial impact.
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams for program execution, delivery quality, and outcome achievement.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation strategies across teams and workstreams.
  • Balance speed, quality, cost, and risk in complex delivery environments.
  • Establish and reinforce delivery best practices, governance approaches, and execution standards.
  • Provide technical guidance across modern platforms, infrastructure, cloud, and software ecosystems.
  • Mentor technical and delivery leaders and elevate enterprise delivery standards across teams.
  • Support solution strategy and technical feasibility validation for complex initiatives when needed.
  • Promote modern delivery approaches, automation, and scalable execution models.
  • Partner with architecture, engineering, and consulting leaders to improve execution maturity and delivery predictability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery quality, efficiency, and consistency.
