About The Position

Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner to business leadership for enterprise Supply Chain Applications, including Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Transportation Management capabilities. Participate in business updates, strategy and support sessions to ensure technology priorities are aligned to operational needs, compliance requirements, and value delivery. Partner with multiple business areas, vendors, and IT teams to ensure stable and predictable operations of the applications and integrations that support inventory, warehousing, logistics execution, and transportation processes. Drive incident/problem reduction by cataloguing and prioritizing recurring issues, establishing service management discipline, and proactively implementing best practices to prevent future issues. Ensure solutions are cost-efficient, architecturally sound, secure, and deliver high end-user satisfaction. Drive new enterprise and scalable solutions that support the company’s growth strategy across the supply chain domains (inventory, warehouse, logistics, transportation). Lead roadmap planning, solution architecture direction, and delivery governance for Oracle-based supply chain applications and for integrations/touchpoints with Workday where applicable. Foster collaboration within the team and across business and IT to ensure solutions are efficient, non-redundant, and aligned to business and IT strategy. Mentor team members to improve decision-making, foster collaboration, and actively participate in the talent management process. This will be accomplished by leading by example; providing ongoing, constructive feedback to the team and individuals; and working with direct reports to identify training and career development opportunities. Stay abreast of technological changes and innovations in supply chain and hospitality, including (but not limited to) the cruise industry. Monitor technology trends and emerging standards to proactively recommend solutions and serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders. To deliver on the strategy and implement projects effectively, this position will manage project management resources, either directly or through a matrixed reporting structure. Manage a multimillion-dollar budget, including approved projects and initiatives that will be identified through the strategy. Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of experience in enterprise application delivery (development, implementation, and support) with demonstrated leadership of large teams (20+) and vendor partners.
  • Required experience supporting end-to-end Supply Chain execution processes, including Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Transportation Management.
  • Required platform experience with Oracle (Supply Chain/ERP applications) and Workday, including cross-platform integrations and operational support.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis as it relates to operational and capital budgets, and a proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff.
  • Five or more years of experience leading infrastructure teams or managing infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing vendors to optimize systems, assuring that service level agreements are met and collaborating on contract negotiations.
  • Experience must demonstrate the ability to move Application and System projects and Programs through the Project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully deliver timeline critical projects in a rapidly changing construction-like environment.
  • Sound decision-making skills with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, coach, and influence team members in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to manage the budget effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated, extensive knowledge of people and application management, with the ability to partner across functions to develop process efficiencies from procurement through delivery to the ship in production.
  • Experience in creating or executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

  • Experience leveraging, adopting and adapting IT standards, processes, methodologies, tools, and maturity models.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market forces, regulatory environment and business strategy.
  • Demonstrable experience creating business-oriented presentations to communicate rationale for IT investments and processes to stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship, interpersonal, presentation, salesmanship, and verbal communication skills to demonstrate leadership; promote guidelines and standards; establish oversight controls; facilitate solution design reviews among cross-functional stakeholder groups; establish buy-in; build consensus; surface key requirements; mentor associates; and drive change.
