About The Position

COMPANY: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. LOCATION: 168 Third Ave., Waltham, MA 02451 (can work remotely) TITLE: Sr. Developer HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm DUTIES: Work with business analysts to develop, unit test, debug, and maintain Cora Sequence and OutSystems applications based on functional requirements and scope of work. Provide software coding and customization, including screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development. Adhere to adopted software development standards within Enterprise Services. Monitor and optimize platform performances, identify bottlenecks and bugs, and propose effective solutions. Use .net core to develop and interface with web services, MVC architecture, RESTful, and JSON. Responsible for coding and scripting Dot Net (4.0+) with C, Java script, jQuery, Python, ML, Angular, and NodeJS. Develop and enhance custom objects, triggers and services, reports, dashboards, and workflows. TRAVEL: Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in designing and interfacing with web services, designing and developing web applications, or related experience. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in designing and interfacing with web services, designing and developing web applications, or related experience as an equivalent alternative. Required knowledge or experience with: OutSystems, .NET, CoraSequence, RestfulAPI, jQuery; Azure DevOps, MS SQL, AWS Services; Cloud technology solutions and supporting large complex systems at scale; Integrating data storage solutions through APIs on AWS and MS SQL; MS SQL Database concepts and query optimization for relational databases; and Azure functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Hub, and Azure API Gateway. Salary: $178,131 to $185,500 per year Compensation and Benefits The salary pay range estimated for this position Sr Developer based in Massachusetts is $178,131.00–$185,500.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
