The Ads AI Core infrastructure team develops core services to support Ads agents' needs for Advertiser Registration and Access Management, Ad Catalog Service, Billing, Data Ingestion/Publishing, and Analytics, underpinning advertising programs like Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. This role involves collaborating with numerous teams across WW Advertising to drive key initiatives for improving the resilience of advertising systems. The company is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer passionate about data and the insights large datasets can provide, experienced in designing and building data marts, and comfortable working with PB-scale data. This individual will work with a team of business and tech-savvy professionals (DEs, BIEs, SDEs, and PMs) to establish scalable data architecture for ingesting vast amounts of structured and unstructured datasets, creating easily consumable views for customers, and partnering with stakeholders to drive data-based business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess both a data engineering background and strong business acumen for strategic thinking, and will encounter a wide range of problem-solving situations requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis techniques such as data mining and machine learning.
