About The Position

As the Sr. Data Analyst for Chime's expanding lending portfolio, you will be instrumental in shaping our data-driven lending strategy and enhancing member liquidity experiences. This role involves close collaboration with Product, Risk, Finance, and Marketing teams. Your core responsibilities will include leading sophisticated analyses, designing and measuring experiments, understanding cross product interactions and providing deep insights into impact drivers. A key focus will be understanding how member demographics and segmentation influence lending needs, and developing optimal product offerings to effectively support them. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $140,670 and up to $195,400. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, you can expect to: Drive advanced analytics and experimentation to support lending growth initiatives, with a focus on causality, measurement, and incremental impact Design and lead experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and causal inference, to evaluate product and revenue-driving opportunities Build and scale analytical models, segmentation, and reporting to surface insights across the lending funnel Partner closely with Product, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and Data teams to align on strategy, goals, and measurement Deliver clear, actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders and leadership decisions Act as a senior individual contributor, elevating analytical rigor and mentoring through influence and expertise

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience across product, growth, financial analytics, or data science, with a strong understanding of measurement, causal inference, and incrementality
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • Experience using Python or R for analysis and workflow automation
  • Proven ability to apply experimentation, A/B testing, statistical analysis, and data science techniques to optimize product and/or revenue-driving opportunities
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
