This position will: Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners on requirement gathering and assessment. Work with QA & Business Analysts on Integration and User Acceptance Testing. Work using Agile Delivery Methodology to deliver in Quick Delivery Cycles. Develop Qlik Sense Analytics Dashboards, SSRS Reports, Paginated Reports, Cognos reports. Build Qlik Sense Data Files (QlikView Data), Incremental Loads, and dashboard creation from various data sources. Design visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using BI tools like Qlik Sense and Tableau. Build QlikView Data from different sources and create star Data Model using Qlik Sense. Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence using Qlik Sense and Power BI. Create and maintain design specifications and support documentation. Participate in Design Reviews and Post-Production Support activities. Troubleshoot systems production / performance issues. Telecommuting permitted 20% of the time: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the CMA CGM (AMERICA) LLC office in Norfolk, VA.

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field and six (6) years of experience in IT working with Business Intelligence and Data.
  • Must have five (5) years of experience with SQL, including complex queries on relational databases, stored procedures, and automation.
  • Must have four (4) years of experience with: designing and developing reports and dashboards in Qlik Sense, Power BI, Cognos, SSRS, or SAP Business Objects; and designing Data Visualization for Business Needs.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience with Data Warehousing and BI Data Modeling.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience with: GitHub, JIRA, and CI/CD tools; and working in an Agile Scrum environment and the Agile methodologies.
