A role in Finance Capabilities means partnering with Finance, Technology, Data Science and Data Analytics leaders to co-create solutions that maximizes business value and enables key strategies that are critical to the enterprise and for the experiences we create for our guests. Truly an owner and expert of your data solutions and underlying processes - you will set the vision, align on the roadmap and mobilize your team and partner teams to deliver needed outcomes. Given most strategies have a Finance impact, you will also serve as a trusted resource to guide other enterprise partners in their solutions to ensure the success and integrity of end-to-end deliverables. We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Developer to join our Finance Capabilities team. In this role you will: design, build, and support financial planning models and integrations that power forecasting, budgeting, and analytical decision-making across the organization. You will partner with FP and A teams, technical platform teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable SAC planning solutions, ensuring accurate data, efficient processes, and an exceptional end-user experience.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Finance, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related work experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in Financial Planning and Forecasting data domain or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with financial forecasting technology (i.e. Anaplan, Adaptive, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BPC); SAP Analytics Cloud preferred
  • Experience working with SQL, ETL/Hadoop tools and reporting or visualization software (i.e. Power BI, Domo, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with financial planning logic such as allocations, driver-based modeling, variance methodologies, and version management
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment
  • Demonstrated constant learner mentality who’s willing to ask questions about business objectives and measurement needs for a project workstream and measure objectives/key results
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical teams, and translate ideas between them

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with FP and A teams and other data analyst Team Members to design, develop, and implement SAP Analytics Cloud models that align with business objectives
  • Design, optimize, and maintain SAC data, stories, and integrations in accordance with industry and internal best practices
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing SAP Analytics Cloud planning models, data actions, and integration pipelines
  • Deliver interactive and intuitive dashboards and stories, incorporating dynamic filters, input controls, and rich visual elements to supplement Financial Planning and Analysis processes
  • Oversee and manage data load processes and refresh schedules to ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability throughout planning and analytic processes
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, including model specifications, data flow diagrams, and test scripts
  • Develop and support both inbound and outbound data integrations between SAC and multiple data sources, including SAP ERP, SAP BW, and third-party systems
  • Perform quarterly regression testing in alignment with SAC enhancement and release cycles
  • Recommend improvements to planning workflows, performance, model structure, and reporting usability
