About The Position

Sr. Credit Analyst is a leadership role for an advanced Credit professional who will be responsible for overseeing the credit analysis function, managing high exposure credit portfolios, driving credit risk strategy, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves high level decision making, policy development, and stakeholder engagement to drive financial stability and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related fields, required.
  • 8+ years of experience in credit management, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing strategies that enhance performance for high value and highly complex credit portfolios.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills).
  • Advanced knowledge of credit risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Expertise with ERPs (e.g. SAP) and ETRMs (e.g. Right Angle) systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong customer service etiquette.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and change within the organization.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
  • Requires prolonged sitting.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying light objects such as files, documents, or small packages (up to 25 pounds).
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor Credit Analysts and assist Credit leaders in managing workflow across the team.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and risk appetite.
  • Lead evaluation of high-value or highly complex business deals, including international ones.
  • Mange and optimize large credit portfolios, minimizing losses and maximizing returns.
  • Align credit policies with corporate objectives by working closely with department leadership.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, collections and other departments to ensure corporate objectives are achieved.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced credit technologies and analytics tools.
