About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic wordsmith to join the Signet Marketing team, supporting Zales and Banter, with a passion for developing impactful and engaging messaging. The Style Brands Senior Copywriter will help bring campaigns to life through compelling copy across both evergreen and one-off initiatives. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role bridges creative and strategy, translating brand and marketing priorities into authentic, differentiated messaging that builds emotional connection and drives the brands forward. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and pivot copy direction based on channel and platform needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting experience
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to bring stories to life
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and creative copywriting for marketing initiatives, ensuring each message reinforces brand identity and positioning across social, website, email, and other channels
• Partner closely with creative, marketing, merchandising, and digital teams to stay aligned on ongoing initiatives and deliver relevant, consistent messaging across customer touchpoints
• Build and manage campaign messaging that connects creative storytelling to marketing objectives and business priorities
• Review cross-channel copy for consistency, clarity, and alignment with brand voice
• Support the creation of presentations that showcase creative concepts and campaign narratives to leadership, grounded in clear strategic rationale
• Evaluate performance data and consumer insights to refine copy and messaging strategies that drive engagement and conversion
• Stay attuned to cultural trends and competitive landscape to keep Zales and Banter’s voice fresh, relevant, and authentic
• Write and edit copy that is clear, concise, and error-free, while adhering to brand guidelines and legal requirements
• Proofread and review all copy to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of the Zales and Banter Style Guide, ensuring the brand’s tone, language, and messaging remain distinctive and cohesive for internal and external partners
