The Precision Control Actuation System department is seeking a Sr. mechanical design engineer to join the PCAS organization to support the development, build, and verification specialty control actuation systems, where the individual will specifically be responsible for incorporation of design improvements and verification for Electromagnetic environments. This role supports an integrated product team and therefore requires cross-functional and cross-discipline collaboration. What You Will Learn The PCAS organization provides ample opportunities for hands-on hardware work, with a dedicated lab space at our Huntsville and Tucson facility. PCAS mechanical engineers are exposed to a variety of lab activities including engineering builds, hardware integration, hardware tuning, and hardware verification. The PCAS organization provides a strong technical learning environment with a dedicated control system technology pyramid comprised of engineering fellows. PCAS mechanical engineers are provided the opportunity for direct access to these subject matter experts, fostering accelerated technical growth.
