About The Position

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Sr. Contracts Specialist to support SDA’s mission. Responsibilities include:

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
15+ years' Federal contracting experience
Highly organized and able to work in fast-paced environment
Top Secret/SCI Eligibility; #qinetiqclearedjob

Nice To Haves

Master's degree
DAWIA Certification a plus

Responsibilities

Assist the Government contracting officer with the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award of contracts and Other Transactions for Prototypes for research and development and/or enterprise operations services for SDA.
Assist the Government contracting officer with the administration of contracts and agreements by assuring compliance with the terms and conditions, including resolution of problems concerning the obligations and duties of the parties.
Assist the Government contracting officer with terminating contracts and agreements by analyzing, negotiating, and settling claims and proposals.
Perform cost analysis of performer/offeror proposals submitted to SDA to determine cost reasonableness
Plan, establish, or review contracts, programs, policies, or procedures.
Assist with the development of acquisition strategies and managing of source selections.
Perform other duties as needed.
