About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Contracts Specialist to support SDA’s mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• 15+ years' Federal contracting experience
• Highly organized and able to work in fast-paced environment
• Top Secret/SCI Eligibility; #qinetiqclearedjob

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree
• DAWIA Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the Government contracting officer with the solicitation , evaluat ion , negotiati on , and award of contracts and Other Transactions for Prototypes for research and development and/ or enterprise operations services for SDA.
• A ssist the Government contracting officer with the a dminist ration of contracts and agreements by assuring compliance with the terms and conditions, including resolution of problems concerning the obligations and duties of the parties.
• Assist the Government contracting officer with t erminating contracts and agreements by analyzing, negotiating, and settling claims and proposals.
• Perform cost analysis of performer/offeror proposals submitted to SDA to determ ine cost reasonableness
• Plan, establish , or review contracts, programs, policies, or procedures.
• Assist with the d evelop ment of acquisition strategies and managing of source selections .
• Perform other duties as needed.
