Primary Purpose Provides oversight and implements the Exelon Community Business Empowerment Process, and strategic community business initiatives for Exelon. Also represents the Exelon supplier community business program when meeting with outside supplier advocacy groups and suppliers. Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position must sit out of our Philadelphia - PA, Oakbrook Terrace – IL, Chicago – IL, Newark - DE or Baltimore - MD or Washington -DC office. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with 4-7 years' experience or in lieu of degree, 6-9 years of experience.
  • Excellent PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerBI, Power Point, Passport SMART GEP)
  • Excellent communicator, written and oral, with strengths in organization, planning and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Use and understand effective change management skills and strategies.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the Purchasing, module of Passport and eSourcing tool.
  • Understanding of commodities, suppliers, market alignments and supply concepts and technical and non-technical clients.
  • Working knowledge of community business programs and activities, with the use of small, local, and diverse businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with sourcing and procurement leadership to implement strategies to meet and exceed annual Regulatory Commitments.
  • Support implementation of partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and increase opportunities at Exelon for small, local, and diverse suppliers.
  • Coordinates with external organizations to participate in periodic networking events and training sessions
  • Prepare reports and metrics required to maintain compliance with the governmental and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Implement a community business monitoring process that provides standard, accurate, and complete performance metrics
  • Support development of small, local, and diverse supplier skills that drive new business opportunities with Exelon Prime Suppliers.
  • Implement community business training to support accurate performance reporting and understanding of the benefits of implementing a strong effective Community Business Process
  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned
