About The Position

Sinch is looking for a Senior Manager, PR & Communications to lead and elevate our external communications efforts in North America, our most strategically important market. This role sits within the Global Corporate Communications team and reports to the Head of Corporate Communications, based in Stockholm. You’ll own PR and media relations in the U.S., act as a senior communications partner to regional leadership, and play a key role in shaping Sinch’s reputation in the tech and B2B landscape. We’re looking for a seasoned, strategic communicator with deep understanding of the U.S. media ecosystem, a strong track record in B2B tech, and the confidence to operate independently while collaborating closely with global teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • 6–8+ years of experience in PR and communications, ideally within B2B tech, SaaS, or digital services
  • Proven success securing earned media coverage in the U.S. market
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills in English
  • Experience managing external partners such as PR agencies
  • Comfortable working in a global organization and collaborating across time zones
  • Strong judgment, stakeholder management skills, and ability to operate with autonomy

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of PR and communications strategy for North America, aligned with global priorities
  • Own U.S. media relations, including proactive pitching, press releases, reactive inquiries, and long-term journalist relationships
  • Partner with and manage external PR agencies to ensure strong, high-impact coverage
  • Act as a strategic advisor to regional stakeholders on positioning, messaging, and media opportunities
  • Develop and localize communications content such as press materials, thought leadership, blogs, and executive messaging
  • Prepare and support Sinch spokespeople with media training, briefings, and local opportunities
  • Track, analyze, and report on media performance and communications impact
  • Collaborate closely with global Marketing and Communications teams to ensure consistency while advocating for U.S. market needs
  • Support selected internal communications initiatives for U.S.-based teams as needed
