Job Description: This job is responsible for cultivating relationships with prospects and generating new clients to provide appropriate banking and lending solutions. Key responsibilities include maintaining and building a network of prospects and clients with centers of influence, commercial referral sources, and prospect lists to acquire relationships, and coaching teammates on best practices. Job expectations include utilizing industry experience, commercial sales, client management, and lending to acquire new relationships, and identify solutions for sales teams to expand long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivates new relationships with prospects across different markets
  • Works with local teams during prospect identification, calling, due diligence, onboarding, and underwriting processes
  • Assists local client teams that are extending credit for the first time to clients with due diligence, underwriting and interactions with Risk
  • Builds and maintains a network of internal and external centers of influence that facilitate new Business Banking relationships
  • Participates in external trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements, that support our external brand and marketing strategy, and drive new business opportunities
  • Serves with subject matter expertise to sales teams, provides education to market teams on capabilities, and assists with identification of opportunities in local markets
  • Works with internal partners and stakeholders to further develop and refine market strategy
