The Sr. Collections Specialist is responsible for generating and distributing accurate, timely collections reports that provide actionable insights for management and team members. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to deliver clear, effective communication that supports successful payment resolution. The Sr. Collections Specialist owns and proactively manages an assigned collections portfolio, driving full and timely payments, reducing DSO, and mitigating financial risk. This position reports to the Director of Credit and Collection and is part of the Accounts Receivable Department in Sunnyvale, CA. It will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Reduce DSO and improve cash flow by leading recovery efforts on high‑risk, high‑value accounts—driving faster resolution, strategic negotiations, and stronger payment compliance. Identify root‑cause drivers of delinquency through data analysis and customer insights, then partner with Sales, Credit, and Billing to implement process improvements that prevent future revenue leakage. Strengthen overall portfolio performance by working with customers payment history, optimizing workflows, and ensuring adherence to best practices and risk‑mitigation strategies that protect the company’s financial health.
