About The Position

As a Senior Platform / Cloud Engineer, you will lead the strategic management and optimization of our most critical infrastructure systems, directly enabling Fiserv's continued growth and stability. You will head a dedicated team, leveraging Cloud Architecture best practices to tackle advanced challenges and ensure high performance across our global footprint. Your expertise in modernizing environments through Containerization will be essential in driving innovative solutions that significantly contribute to our clients' success and our overall business goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of combined experience in cloud infrastructure design, management, and leadership.
  • 7+ years of direct experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network management.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience utilizing containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure App Services).
  • 7+ years of experience in performance tuning and optimization, focusing on network latency, routing, and geo-replication.
  • 7+ years of experience implementing and maintaining infrastructure security solutions (Radware, F5).
  • 7+ years of experience managing data integration and ETL processes (Synapse, Fabric).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of automation scripting for infrastructure management (Terraform).
  • Experience in infrastructure scaling technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Architect & Automate: Lead the design and implementation of robust Cloud Architecture using Terraform to ensure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) consistency across all environments.
  • Orchestrate & Scale: Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring seamless deployment and scaling of microservices.
  • Cloud Service Management: Design and maintain high-availability web applications and APIs leveraging Azure App Services.
  • Optimize Performance: Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security across the platform.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure design with enterprise goals, ensuring a cohesive Containerization strategy.
  • Audit & Innovate: Conduct regular system audits and provide data-driven recommendations for upgrades, staying ahead of emerging cloud technologies and trends.
