About The Position

The Senior Clinical Analyst role poses a solid understanding of Ambulatory and Post Acute Care application systems to support our Physician Practice Management, LifeCare and HomeCare Divisions. Requires a strong knowledge of Electronic Health Record & Practice Management Applications. Provides ongoing support with providers, practice managers, nurses, support staff, and ancillary personnel to implement Best Practice clinical and financial workflows within each setting. Coordinates or assist in the planning, design, development, testing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various applications. Follows technical standards for development, testing, change management and documentation. Practices continuous quality improvement, and serves as support resource for IT Projects and teams throughout the enterprise. Mentoring IT application analysts. Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of relevant work experience and a minimum of 3 years in Clinical Physician Practice and/or Post Acute Care setting preferred.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrates advanced experience with all divisions of customer service including but not limited to different levels of IT, Nurses, Providers and Third Party vendors
  • Demonstrate proficiency in an Electronic Health Record support, training, build or configuration. Ambulatory and Post Acute Care systems (LifeCare, Homecare & Hospice, Ambulatory Physician Services) a plus.
  • Ability to serve as a clinical subject matter expert to troubleshoot, research and solve technically challenging problems.
  • Ability to work on IT teams and as an IT lead exercising independent judgment in planning, organizing, communicating support for IT Projects
  • Must have the ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, communicating, motivate, organize projects among a broad spectrum of divisions for quality, safety and integrity of all clinical systems.
  • The Senior Clinical Analyst supports and performs feasibility and analytical of areas of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the following systems a plus: Athena, HomeCare HomeBase, and PointClickCare and other ongoing Ambulatory and Post Acute Care applications.
  • Ambulatory and Post Acute Care systems (LifeCare, Homecare & Hospice, Ambulatory Physician Services) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to ensure processes and workflows are reviewed, documented, changed, and optimized as part of all technology deployment.
  • Performs duties in support of the Health System mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
  • Must be willing to enthusiastically embrace key organizational initiatives such as SafeCare and Experience.
  • Travel between facilities and practices.
  • On-Call and holiday coverage when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
