Application support as specifically related to nursing, ancillary and physician applications. Provide physician training for Cerner and new clinical applications as they are rolled out. Provide clinical decision support, system administration for assigned clinical applications. Provide reporting and analysis of Clinical Information System activities and formulate recommendations designed to improve operational effectiveness. Provide support to management for program development and budget submissions. Fully support the mission of the Information Systems department.

Requirements

  • Associate of Science in Nursing or other related Healthcare profession required.
  • Associate degree appropriate for training required.
  • Two years of clinical experience in direct patient care in a critical care or emergency room setting required.
  • Requires the ability to work with all levels of staff with emphasis on physicians, nursing and clinical staff.
  • Associate degree appropriate for training required.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff with particular emphasis on clinical staff.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Direct patient care and Clinical management experience.
  • Computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products and Hospital information systems.
