Applicants must be within driving distance to a MMA SE Office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office three days per week. As a Sr. Claims Advocate , you will: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing guidance and support. Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training for current employees. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA. Collaborate with insurance carriers and vendors to manage benefits enrollment, claims, and issue resolution. Analyze and evaluate benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness. Assist in the development and implementation of benefits policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee benefits. Prepare and distribute benefits communication materials to employees. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation affecting employee benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in benefits administration or a related role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, insurance products, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and benefits administration software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have or obtain Life and Health license within 90 days of employment
