We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Sr Chief Engineer to provide technical authority and strategic direction for the development and lifecycle support of Next Generation Avionics (NGA) products across Honeywell Aerospace’s portfolio. As the Design Authority, you will lead the development of next generation avionics systems, for deployment in, aerospace, UAS/UAM, and defense applications. Honeywell’s next generation avionics system marketed under the Anthem brand name, it is the next generation flight deck that will replace Honeywell’s highly successful EPIC platform. Anthem is designed to meet the needs of multiple aerospace market segments including business aviation, UAS/UAM, commercial aviation and military. Anthem provides a modular architecture with distributed processing that is scalable, connected, and intuitive. Anthem is designed to provide configurability to minimize reapplication costs, reduce size and weight, and the most contemporary features for ease of flying and safer operations. The Anthem flight deck consists of all newly designed hardware (touchscreen displays, processing modules, network switches, consolidated surveillance, and radios) and software. This role requires deep expertise in aerospace electronic technologies, combined with strong leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary engineering teams and align technical strategy with business objectives. This role will work with the broader Honeywell engineering organization, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure we leverage all our resources and talent to achieve world-class performance for NGA products. This position is part of a powerful, innovative, and agile team consistent with elements of the Honeywell Aerospace Chief Engineer Transformation Initiative. The position requires the Sr. Chief Engineer to partner with customers, leadership, and the broader engineering teams to ensure continuous business growth.
