Sr. Channel Marketing Specialist
About The Position
The Sr. Channel Marketing Specialist will play an instrumental role in Renesas’ mass market growth, frequently working with internal stakeholders, distribution partners, and other 3rd party partners to execute joint marketing activities and new product introductions (NPI). As part of Renesas’ successful go-to-market process, assisting with stocking operations will also be part of the Sr. Channel Marketing Specialist’s day-to-day. As such, the role will require collaboration with supply chain management and sales operations. The ideal candidate for this role will have both a marketing and operational mindset, and experience working with external partners. They are process-oriented, organized, and know how to manage multiple project streams at the same time. Because Renesas is a global company, the ideal candidate will have proven experience working across different cultures and time zones.
Requirements
- Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Renesas is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas for this position now or in the future. This includes anyone on F1/OPT.
- BS or BA in marketing, communications, business or similar area of study
- 5+ years of experience working on integrated marketing campaigns or product marketing, preferably in a technology-related industry (experience with distribution is a plus)
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day marketing owner for distribution partners
- Work with channel distributor partners on co-op marketing activities and assist with managing the co-op budget
- Coordinate with cross-functional and global internal teams on NPI
- Assist with stocking operations for NPI to ensure stock shows online at distributors by launch date
- Review and analyze performance reports to contribute insights, recommendations, and optimization opportunities
